This means the main characters are:

Roshil (Roe-shil) Aonva (ah-oh-nva) Kurgm (koorgm) Sirshi (seer-shee) Oshal (oh-shahl) Nourd (no-oord)

Valignatiejir (Va-lign-ah-tee-jeer) and Gorkle (that ’e’ is silent) are the exceptions, because I came up with their names before I had solidified those rules, and I don’t like changing things after I’ve posted them. Valignatiejir is taken straight from Girl in Red, for reasons that I might explain another time.
